‘Tis the season for an Oakville ARC Teleconference!

Busy & Cold, a Wicked Combo

OK, it’s wicked cold, crazy icy and the bunch of us are WAY too busy coming out of the Xmas season to assemble a decent topic… (anyone WITH a decent topic come see me SOON) – BUT that’s a terrible excuse for not doing ANYTHING – so I’m going to announce that this month (14 Jan) we are going to host an OPTIONAL  “Roundtable” teleconference on GOTOMEETING. Yes, you can sit in the warm glow of your own shack and chat with the club members via your webcam.

It is my hope that EACH of you will bring a brief topic or update. Be sure to test out your system in advance, particularly the audio and cameras, and at 7:30 on tuesday evening

I will have the line open a little earlly if you want to test it out
Use your microphone and speakers (VoIP) – a headset is recommended. Or, call in using your telephone

Not at your computer? Click the link to join this meeting from your iPhone®, iPad® or Android® device via the GoToMeeting app.

Next meeting is the second Tuesday in Feb11th at 7:30pm  – Site to be confirmed (Although I strongly suspect St Judes, lest someone volunteer their home),
when we will be doing a presentation on Raspberry Pi configurations and applications, followed by a hands on workshop – so bring an 8Gig SD card and a raspberry Pi if you have one

 See ya then!!!
